Environmental Management Planning Solutions Inc (EMPSi) has received the CCBJ Award for the Project Merit: Renewable Development from the Climate Change Business Journal (CCBJ). The EMPSi was honored for its efforts joining Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Arizona for Restoration Design Energy Project which was mainly involved to advance production of the renewable energy.
Both EMPSi and BLM Arizona are adding effort on the environmental impact statement which is expected to look at the disturbed and already developed lands in Arizona for the use of energy generation. The EIS will examine the features which will decide on the suitability of siting the renewable energy projects and also study the possible affects on the cultural and environmental resources at each place. The project has received investment from American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and it has already started and may be completed by 2012.
