Neville’s eco-mansion a reality

This 34 year old is a well known environmentalist. He wishes to build an £8 million zero carbon home right next to his 12 bedroom house on a past farmstead on the moors between Bury and Bolton, Lancs. His wife and him have spent almost 3 years preparing designs for this 8,000 square feet property which would contain solar panels, ground heat source pumps, a wind turbine & also a huge central kitchen & various wings. Energy that is produced by the wind turbine is also going to be used for powering his neighbouring house with all of it’s excess energy thus reducing his carbon foot print. Some of his team mates have mocked him for this house of his which is almost going to be completely underground.
There are people that say it resembles the glassy home of the popular kid’s TV show, Teletubbies, which houses Dipsy, Laa-Laa, Po and Tinky Winky. The structure of this home is so advanced that the government wishes to use it as a bench mark forall zero carbon developments in the future.

Even though it is going to be developed on a green belt of land, Neville wishes to use the planning laws which allow construction of brand new county homes which have designs that are quite outstanding & ground breaking & reflect the paramount standards of contemporary architecture.

Neville, the captain of Manchester United, recently presented a plan in front of planning officials at the Bolton Council hoping to get the go ahead.
A council source told us, ” He was quite impressive & is quite enthusiastic about this project. A large part of the presentation was done by him and he clearly knows what he is talking about.”
The report that was submitted to the council officials said that the development here was quite like the Skara Brae Neolithic settlement of Orkney, as it was also built inside the hillside which will make the surrounding moorland seamlessly flow right over the roof.

Nevile bought this 18th century Top O’ Th’ knotts farming hamlet 5 years ago so that he could make it into his family home. It comes with a golf course, swimming pool cinema, stable and gym. But, some neighbours felt that the development was quite an eye-sore and Neville too sparked controversy last year when he had a huge hedge cut with the intials of his club – MUFC. The England defender plans to bow out from Manchester United with a testimonial that is eco-friendly as it is lit by wind power. He is talking to many green energy companies for providing electricity for the game at Old Trafford.
