New Swiss electric car

New Swiss electric car

“Protoscar”, a Swiss-based auto manufacturer, after successfully launching the 1 million euro all electric sports car prototype the Lampo, it’s all set to unveil its almost finished Lampo II at this years Geneva Motor show. The company however has no plans yet to start rolling the cars off its assembly line — it’s just using this prototype to display the current breakthrough in technology. This move would push other biggies in the auto industry towards the making of new sporty cars and also encourage the electric car industry in production of new cars.

The Lampo electric sports car is sleek and stylish and it’s bound to get attention while it burns the rubber on the road.
“Protoscar” is a clean car company, headquartered in Ticino. Their motto is to inspire other car manufacturers to put their trust in electric cars. The company wants to market the finished product by starting an electric car trend through which they would be making the products available from visions and various concepts.

Alessandro de Guglielmo, the project leader for Lampo electric sportscar says that fuel cell vehicles are really way to far for anyone to speak about. Though he knows that it’s the perfect solution in the future, but electric or hybrid vehicles is in need of the hour and something has to be done to think over it.

Lampo is a prototype, so there is nothing called as perfect in this type of car but its considered to be a finished product. Though de Guglielmo is aware that there are wires hanging down in few corners of the vehicle but according to him they are continuously working on it. The launch of Lampo this year was not in an acceptable state but the reviews from auto reviewers and journalists were positive and flattering.
A lot of work and creativity has been put into the car after the last launch and Guglielmo made those amendments considering the reviews and according to him the car now fits into all the requirements of being a high performance, sexy looking electric sports car. The car supposedly uses solar off-sets so it’s sort of been called as solar powered. The new Lampo II will be faster, spacious second generation car.

Protoscar is not quite sure whether electric cars like these would be a hit in the market but his main intentions what he is trying to portray towards his customers is that electric cars can really give you a high performance while remaining cool but the most difficult task would be assuring the huge car industry and customers that electric cars are anytime better than fuel based cars.
