They in turn create methane which is harvested in 75% of all landfills in the US. Methane is cheaper than wind and solar power. PLA bags (corn) use MORE fossil fuels than plastic! They hide this by buying energy credits to off-set this.They are made from GMO corn that contains pesticides and weedkillers.Please read up about GMO's- it will scare you to death!!
